Metro Dog cares about your dog’s well-being. As a trusted provider of dog daycare in Richmond, our daycare, grooming, training, and boarding programs are designed to meet your dog’s physical, social, and emotional needs at every stage of life.
We offer play groups designed for every size, type and age of dog from the active players to the mellow sun bathers. If group play is not the right fit for your dog, we also offer private care. We are a Green-Certified business located next to Pt. Isabel Regional Shoreline Park in Richmond, California.
Our handlers observe and interact with your dog and make adjustments to their day to meet their needs. Our programs have been ethically designed in alignment with LIMA principles (Least Intrusive Minimally Aversive). We do not use squirt bottles, shaker cans, or collar corrections to suppress unwanted behavior.
We treat your pup like a member of our own family!
Returning clients, if your dog has not attended in the last few months, please make a reservation for a full day of daycare so we can reassess your dog’s comfort, stress, and sociability levels. Success determines their eligibility. We will need updated vaccination records before they can attend . Drop-ins without reservations for returning clients may be turned away.
Please note: For the well-being of your dog and others, we cannot accept returning clients for boarding without multiple successful days of daycare prior to the board.
